Tree Removal
The removal of any size trees in tricky locations is what we specialize in the most. We also specialize in tree climbing and rope-rigging. We tie branches off with a rope and lower them if they cannot be safely dropped. We sometimes use ziplines to move branches close to our trailer or chipper. We have a mini skid loader which minimizes yard damage as opposed to a full-sized machine. We take responsibility to fix any turf damage that may result and clean up debris.
Tree Trimming
Major trimming jobs on oaks should be done during the winter in temperatures of less than 50 degrees to minimize disease risk. Most tree species can be done year-round. A standard trimming job consists of cutting out dead branches, thinning out crowded or crisscrossing branches, and opening up the canopy. We trim to fit your situation. This may involve the removal of branches against the house, elevating the tree, balancing the tree, etc.
Stump Removal/Grinding
No stump is too small or too big! If a stump is too large to dig with an allsaw, we use a mini skid loader stump grinder attachment. If we encounter stumps too big for the mini skid loader, we provide a solution by hiring a company that is professional and owns a large grinder. A standard grinding consists of cleaning up resulting grindings and debris after grinding area is leveled out. We grind several inches below grade level. We can do more or less depending on your needs. We also offer a topsoil fill-in and grass seed planting for an additional price.
Tree Cabling
In an instance where a tree trunk is endangering your house, but you would like to save the tree, we can provide tree cabling. This consists of attaching a cable about halfway up a tree trunk across to a second trunk which is leaning the opposite direction. In most cases the cable would be attached 20-30 feet above the crotch.
Tree Planting
We have auger attachments which can be used to drill holes to plant trees or shrubs. We can buy trees for you or plant trees that you already have.
